Paddy’s biltong bar stocks freshly made treats for the whole family.

Melktert – or Milktart is a South African dessert or tart. Sweet pastry is filled with a custard filling made from milk, flour, sugar and eggs and dusted with cinnamon sugar. A firm favourite with most South Africans – come on in and give it a try – it’s bound to please.

A koeksister is a traditional Afrikaans sweet. The sticky donut type treat is made with platted dough, fried and then soaked in syrup or honey. What a delight!

A Peppermint Crisp Fridge Tart is a delicious, caramelly, creamy dessert, made by mixing whipped cream, caramel with grated peppermint crisp and layered with tennis biscuits – then topped with grated peppermint crisp! What’s not to love!
